When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider, Clerk. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email, and message you provide.
If you start a live chat, Riley receives the optional name you enter and the messages you send. Unsent text and typing activity stay in your browser. Chat uses temporary random identifiers to keep conversations separate. A keyed hash of your connection address is used briefly to limit abuse; the raw address is not stored in chat records.
We use first-party measurement, Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site works and improve its content. Optional browser measurement runs after you accept analytics. Declining analytics does not affect account access, downloads, or purchases.
First-party measurement records pages, referral domains and campaign labels, searches, visible assets and offers, clicks, active time, scroll depth, download and checkout outcomes, errors, and performance. It includes approximate country, language, device category, browser family, and operating system. It uses random visitor and session identifiers. When you sign in, a keyed pseudonymous account identifier can connect consented activity with account access, downloads, and verified billing events. These identifiers are personal data even though they do not contain your name or email.
Daily operational totals count download and checkout responses, service errors, response times, and authenticated Blender file and catalog requests. These totals are collected separately from optional browser measurement. They retain no visitor, session, account, IP address, token, referrer, or individual request timestamp. They help us monitor service delivery even when optional analytics are declined.
Detailed first-party measurement respects Do Not Track. For US visitors who explicitly accept analytics, Global Privacy Control does not disable our first-party measurement for site improvement. It continues to block first-party measurement in other or unknown locations. The older onboarding counters respect both signals. Verified payment records, essential service functions, and aggregate operational totals continue regardless of optional analytics preferences. We do not use first-party measurement for targeted advertising or sell that measurement data.

We use essential cookies required for authentication and site functionality. Optional analytics cookies and browser storage (first-party measurement, Google Analytics, and Vercel services) are optional and are only enabled if you accept them via our cookie banner. You can decline optional cookies and the site will work normally. No advertising cookies are used on this site.
We use third-party services for authentication and analytics. These services may collect data as described in their own privacy policies.
First-party measurement is hosted by Vercel and stored in Upstash Redis. Stripe processes payments and sends verified transaction and subscription records. We may use AI analysis services to review analytics exports for site improvement and planning. Detailed exports contain pseudonymous activity and should be handled under business data-processing terms; aggregate exports omit individual journeys and account identifiers.
Some pages include videos and other content hosted by YouTube, Vimeo, or other external providers. Loading or playing embedded content sends connection and browser information to that provider, which may use its own storage and privacy practices. Optional site analytics preferences do not control every embedded-provider request.
Live chat runs through our hosting provider, Vercel, and uses Upstash Redis for temporary message storage.
Detailed first-party measurement and daily operational totals are retained for up to 400 days to compare seasonal usage and evaluate changes. A random visitor identifier expires after 400 days; browser sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Retry queues remain within the current browser tab for up to seven days. The older onboarding counters are retained for up to 90 days. Legacy search history keeps the latest 5,000 searches and 1,000 zero-result searches; older entries are replaced as new searches arrive. Changing analytics preferences stops future optional browser collection and clears its browser identifiers; it does not automatically delete retained records. Payment records may be retained as needed for accounting and legal obligations.
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Live chat is temporary. Closing a chat, leaving the visitor tab, or Riley going offline clears its messages from active chat storage. If a browser disconnects without notifying the site, chat access ends within 45 seconds and the temporary message records expire within 60 seconds of their last update. The interface shows the latest 100 messages. Short-lived abuse counters expire within five minutes; random closed-session identifiers are kept for up to an hour to prevent delayed requests from reopening a closed chat. A closed conversation may remain visible in your current tab until you close it.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time. Resetting will show the cookie banner again on your next visit.
